Privacy Policy
Pub Points helps hospitality businesses recognise and reward their teams. This notice explains how personal information is handled.
Who is responsible
For venue and company account, billing and support information, Pub Points acts as the data controller. For team-member names, departments, points, prizes and workplace activity, the subscribing venue or company normally decides why the information is used and Pub Points processes it on their behalf.
Information we use
- Manager, company and area-manager names, email addresses and account credentials.
- Team-member names, departments, points, awards, milestones and prize records.
- Venue and company configuration, audit history and usage information.
- Stripe customer and subscription identifiers. Pub Points does not store full card details.
- Support messages and essential technical logs used to operate and secure the service.
Why we use it
We use information to provide and secure the service, administer subscriptions, send requested account-recovery messages, support customers, prevent misuse and meet legal obligations. The relevant lawful bases may include performance of a contract, legitimate interests and legal obligation.
Service providers
We use Cloudflare for hosting and database services, Stripe for billing, and Resend for transactional email. Information is shared only as needed to provide those services and is subject to their safeguards.
Retention
Active account and team data is kept while the service is used. Venues can archive former team members. When an account closes, operational personal data is scheduled for deletion after a reasonable transition period, normally within 90 days, unless it must be retained for legal, security or dispute purposes. Limited billing and accounting records may be retained for the period required by law. Backups expire on their normal rotation.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, individuals may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict use of their information, object to processing, or complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office. Team members should normally raise workplace-data requests with their employer first.
Browser storage
Pub Points uses essential browser storage to keep users signed in and remember optional login hints. We do not currently use advertising cookies. If non-essential analytics or marketing technologies are added, this notice and the consent controls will be updated first.
