Terms of Service

These terms apply to businesses using Pub Points. By creating or administering an account, you confirm that you are authorised to act for the subscribing venue or company.

The service

Pub Points provides team-recognition tools including scoring tasks, leaderboards, prizes, reporting and multi-site administration. Employers remain responsible for how they design schemes, award points, communicate prize conditions and make employment decisions.

Trials and subscriptions

Single-venue subscriptions begin with the trial period and price shown at checkout. Unless cancelled before the trial ends, the subscription starts automatically using the payment method supplied to Stripe. Company subscriptions are priced using the quantity and amount shown at checkout. Subscriptions continue monthly until cancelled through the billing portal.

Fair use and workplace decisions

Customers must use Pub Points lawfully, fairly and consistently. Scores and analytics are prompts for recognition and discussion; they should not be treated as a complete measure of employee performance or used as the sole basis for disciplinary, pay or dismissal decisions.

Customer responsibilities

Availability and changes

We aim to keep Pub Points available and secure but cannot promise uninterrupted operation. Maintenance, provider outages and necessary security work may occasionally affect access. Material service or pricing changes will be communicated with reasonable notice where practicable.

Cancellation and account closure

Customers may cancel through Stripe’s billing portal. Access may continue until the end of the paid period unless stated otherwise. We may suspend accounts for non-payment, misuse or security risk. Customers should export information they need before closure.

Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded. Subject to that, Pub Points is not responsible for employment decisions, customer-configured prize promises, indirect losses or failures outside its reasonable control. Obtain independent legal advice where appropriate.
